Unemployment Rate Interactive Map from PolicyMap

| |

PolicyMap has released a few new interactive maps that users can freely embed on their web sites. The unemployment widget (as shown below) has updated preliminary statistics from January of 2010. The data is displayed at the county level and data can be viewed by month going back to January of 2000. Since the data pulls from PolicyMap’s web site, data updates will be seen on the embedded mapping application.

Other maps offered by PolicyMap that are free to embed are the Estimated percent of uninsured people 18 to 64 years old in 2006 and Percent of jobs in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry in 2007 which can be found in the Interactive Health Maps post.
