Survey: Calling all Women in GIS

As Women in GIS (WiGIS) moves to become a nonprofit organization, it is seeking feedback from women who are either working in GIS or seeking to start a career in GIS by inviting them to take its survey.

The two primary goals of WiGIS are:

  • Working to overcome job discrimination, lower pay, professional isolation, and other common barriers women might face, and
  • Fostering relationships and resource-sharing among members and institutions.

To that end, WiGIS has launched a survey to find out “which membership benefits and services would be most valuable to you…. a potential paying member.”
