Submit Your Beautiful Maps

The North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS) has issued a Call for Submissions for the second edition of its Atlas of Design.  Described as a “publication dedicated to honoring beautiful and interesting maps from around the world”, the Atlas of Design was created by the NACIS in order to draw attention to the beauty of mapmaking and to serve as a source of inspiration for future cartography.

The first edition of the Atlas of Design was produced in 2012 and the selection of maps can be viewed on NACIS’ site.

Those interested in submitting maps for consideration can do so up until February 28, 2014.  Cartographers may submit up to three maps that have been made within the last five years.  Maps submitted for the first edition of the Atlas of Design competition are not eligible.

To submit your map, visit the Atlas of Design submission page.
