Google Developer Event


Google has announced the dates for Google I/O which will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco over two days (May 28th and 29th).  Of particular interest to geospatial developers is the track focusing on: “Maps & Geo: Since the introduction of the Google Maps(tm) API in 2005, geo and map applications have been one of the most interesting phenomena on the web. These sessions focus on the many aspects of geo applications, from KML to the Google Maps API and more.”  Read about the announcement here.  The costs of the conference is $400 with a discounted rate (not listed) available for students.
