Imagery taken of all wavelengths within the visible spectrum, though not uniformly.

A mechanical or electronic device that calculates the area of a map feature.

An area bounded by a closed loop of straight-line arc segments.

Positional Error
The difference between the true location and map location of a point.

The closeness with which the measurements agree with each other.

A mathmatical calculation transforming the three dimensional surface of the earth to a two-dimension plane.
