Looking for a job in the GIS field? One of the first places to start a search for a GIS job is on job listings sites that specifically list GIS jobs.  Not only can you browse for jobs, you can also post resumes on certain sites specializing in employment in the GIS industry.

GIS Job Postings at GIS Lounge
Do you have a job opening in the GIS field? Submit your job listing to GIS Lounge. The site is free for posting and browsing GIS related employment.

Canadian Geomatics Employment Center
The Canadian Geomatics Employment Center website provides users with tools to help find GIS, Remote Sensing, CAD, and Mapping jobs by connecting Canadian employers with qualified job seekers. Registration and resume posting is free to job seekers and employers.

Canadian GIS Jobs
From Geomatics in Canada, job listings for GIS jobs in Canada. Geomatics in Canada is a portal specializing in companies in Canada that are GIS and Remote Sensing oriented.

Earthworks
Remote Sensing and GIS job listings from Europe and North America. Mix of mostly academic and research oriented positions.

GeographyJobs.com
The home page of the site contains a growing list of countries that link to an employment gateway specific to the selected country. The site is free to browse for open positions but registration (also free) is required to sign up for job alerts, posting of resumes and to receive their newsletter.

GeoJobs Network
GeoJobs Network provides a place to find GIS jobs around the world by connecting employers with job seekers. Registration and resume posting is free to job seekers. Companies that are on a pay plan will be featured on the front page to let anyone who visits know who they are and what they do. Job seekers can also send their posted resume to an employer.

GeoSearch
Recruiters in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Computer Science and Related Technologies and Sciences.

GeoWeb
Geoweb job listings for the United States. Free resume posting. Includes other technical and natural resource job listings.

GetGISJobs
Job listings for the United States with occasional listings for other countries. Jobs are free to post and browse.

GIS-A-Job
Lists job postings for the United Kingdom; resume posting available.

GIS Connection
Login required to browse for jobs and post resumes but these services are provided for free.

GIS Jobs Clearinghouse
Probably the most well known job posting site. GIS only jobs worldwide (most from USA) are posted daily to this site.

GoGeomatics
GoGeomatics is a job site for jobs in GIS (or geomatics as the field is commonly known in Canada). There are separate portals for U.S., Canadian and European based positions. Posting and searching for positions are free but you will need to register to view the actual job listings.

My GIS Jobs
A geospatial career website that aggregates hundreds of GIS, remote sensing, and related geospatial fields job listings from across the web into a single place. In addition, GIS employers can post their positions directly to the site.

SCGIS Jobs
Occasional jobs and volunteer positions in the environmental and ecological fields are posted to this site.
