What is the GeoCloud? Google Earth Outreach

Google makes its foray into the GeoCloud with Earth Builder.  From Google’s LatLong blog:

Google Earth Builder is an Enterprise mapping platform powered by Google’s cloud technology. Joe Francica of Directions Magazine has an interview with Dylan Lorimar, Google Earth’s product manager about the product: Google Earth Builder Launched: Cloud Platform for Geospatial Data Storage and Processing.
